Students are invited to dress up in their favourite dance outfit, and contribute ideas throughout the lesson. Our little dancers also have the opportunity to perform for their parent/guardian at the end of each class during ‘creative dance time'.

CREATIVE BALLET 5-9 years
This class is different to your usual ballet class. It's a unique fusion of ballet technique, contemporary dance, student choreography, and group collaboration. It's perfect for creative, energetic children, who are interested in dance and want to have fun without the pressure of exams and competitions.
We use a wide variety of exciting props and music to keep the students engaged.
Student input is highly valued. The children are encouraged to request songs, contribute ideas and share their interests with the class- this enables the teacher to plan exciting lessons that are enjoyable for all.
Parents are often invited into the studio at the end of class, which gives the students a chance to perform for their family in a relaxed environment.
$16.50 /per class

Meet Miss Renae..
Wow, It's hard to believe that I have been teaching dance for over 15 years now! It all began when I was 16 years old and my incredibly supportive dance teacher asked me if I'd like to start teaching the preschooler ballet class. She saw something special inside me and I have no doubt that her decision lead me to where I am today 🙂
I began my classical training at the Sail Academy of Dance and continued my dance studies in New York at Dance New Amsterdam. I performed in a variety of contemporary pieces (NYC- Dance Now Festival, Bourke- Yamma Festival, Mackay- The Ballet of the Matryoshka Dolls) but found that my passion was teaching young children.
My teaching experience spans across many local dance studios in the Sutherland Shire as well as primary schools around NSW and even as far as Hong Kong and Kenya.
I've been referred to as a bouncing ball of happiness and energy (how awesome is that!). That must come from my passion and enthusiasm for dance. My teaching style is based on positive reinforcement with an emphasis on encouraging children to have fun and achieve their personal best. I am super proud of the dance programs I have developed, which aim to foster creativity and self-expression, help to gain confidence, and develop physical skills and fitness.
* I have completed my Royal Academy of Dance Major Examinations
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education
* Current First Aid Certificate + Asthma & Anaphylaxis
* Working with children check
I look forward to inspiring your budding ballet dancer 🙂
